Q&A with Justin Garrod (IT Digitization Manager International)

What was Schiedel’s main challenge?

“Schiedel had a lot of countries without any type of CRM system, others with their own internal systems for different aspects & needed a group CRM system to bridge the gap between front and back sales office, sales and service and linked to their ERP system. The CRM system was required to cover more than 15 countries that could be set up and rolled out quickly.”

What were the results achieved with SpiceCRM?

“SpiceCRM ticked all the boxes on what was needed for Sales and Service. Pilot countries went live quickly, and the roll out was managed to the remaining countries within 6-8 months. The system is easy to use and adaptable for different country/market requirements. The system scaled up well as the user base grew to over 400. Twentyreasons supported Schiedel well to implement and configure SpiceCRM to their needs.”

Were there any drawbacks along the journey?

“None. SpiceCRM is very flexible & Schiedel is constantly improving on/in it.”

How would you describe Schiedel’s overall experience?

“Schiedel Sales processes are supported by Spice CRM, an open-source CRM solution supported and maintained by twenty reasons. The solution has given us a cost-effective CRM solution that fits our cost base supporting over 400 of our staff in managing our sales efforts with our customers. Lately, we have expanded the system to manage our vendors (SRM) creating a central system to manage our customer/vendor communication in one system. The twentyreasons team helped guide Schiedel on the best approaches within the system to manage and develop our Sales Processes giving the company a central CRM/SRM system that we improve on year by year.”
